The Network is currently down with no report of when it will be up again. Way to go Sony.

UPDATE
So, now instead of getting error 8091007 or whatever, I get PSN is undergoing maintenance.
The support page still says it is down, but I just logged in. Hhmmm
----
Doh, now it's back up
Word on the street is the new Call of Duty map pack download, was the culprit. Too many people tried to download it at once and the server took a crap.

The network will be down from 1am to 7am on April 20th, 2009
